What about Windows 7? It is a great operating system and a substantial improvement over Vista. If you are using Windows XP and want to upgrade, just go out and buy a new computer with Windows 7. You may be able to do a fresh install of Win 7 on your older XP computer but frankly, it’s not worth the trouble. If you have a computer that is running Vista you can definitely do an OS upgrade, but I don’t recommend it. The best approach is to do a full install and start fresh. This takes a fair amount of work because you must save your data and reload all of your software, but the result will be a clean fast computer - it will run like a new one and you will have few issues in the future.
